DESCRIPTIONS

BROADWAY BABIES-AGES 3-4

Ages 3-5 year olds Broadway Babies Class. Is your Tot singing and dancing around the house! Dramatic in all he or she does? This is a great class to bring out the students personality and introduce them to the music of broadway kids. They will love the acting games, songs from shows like Mary Poppins, Annie, Peter Pan and many more! Through acting games, movement and singing students will learn the basics to theatre. They will have the opportunity to perform in a December and June recital showing off their talent to family and friends. Performance: December and June.

A TASTE OF BROADWAY-AGES 6-8

Students will be introduced to the beginnings of theatre. Technical excellence is based on a solid beginning. Your student will be introduced to Audition techniques, singing, acting and moving. Improvisation through theatre games, diction and short acting excerpts. Movement for blocking and basic techniques. Performance: December and June.

BROADWAY BOUND-AGES 9-11

Students will work on many aspects of theatre. Technical excellence is based on a solid beginning. Your student will work on Audition techniques, singing, acting and movement in musical theatre.. Improvisation through theatre games, diction and monologues. Dance Steps for Musical Theatre. Performance: December and June.

MUSICAL THEATRE TRIPLE THREAT- AGES 12-18

Character development, movement on stage, interaction and improvisation techniques, diction and monologues. Singing for stage and Audition techniques will be the central focus of this class. Performance: December and June.

ACTING FOR SINGERS

Acting for singers is for students who are presently in private lessons and would like tto develop their performance through acting. Teachers will work on developing character work in songs and movement to enhance the work of the vocalist.
